Hands-On Cooking Classes

We offer a variety of hands-on cooking classes, from individual classes on a variety of cuisines and themes to a series of classes to provide a more in-depth learning experience on a cuisine or cooking technique. We also offer a six-week foundations in cooking program.

Kids Classes

Throughout the year we offer hands-on cooking classes for kids ages 8 through 17.

Foundations in Cooking

Novice or expert, there's nothing like learning the foundations of cooking. In this six-session format, you'll learn about:

• knife skills

• meat, poultry, fish and sauces

• how to build a cook's pantry

• essential cooking techniques

Menus are fully customized to suit you and your group's tastes and interests.

How about a hands-on cooking party for your child's birthday. The kids have a great time in the kitchen and they will learn important cooking and kitchen saftey tips while having fun too. A birhtday cooking party is a great gift for aspiring young chefs. We have a great selection of kid-friendly menus that the kids will want to make again at home.

Virtually all of our menus can be designed to satisfy your group's preferences. Programs run two to three hours (add one hour for Staff Development programs). Available for groups from six to 20. Wine and beer service available.

How We Learn
We offer a unique cooking class incorporating the various ways people learn. Guided discussion after the meal reveals the learning strategies used so participants improve their ability to train, manage and supervise staff.
